Hello from the love child of Anna Kendrick and Natalie Portman,  who believes eating while speed walking should be an Olympic Sport.

Born and raised in New York City, I have been privileged to study acting at  incredible studios such as The Barrow Group, Kimball Studios, UCB, Comedy Cellar and more. 

When I am not acting, I am writing comedy sketches, performing stand-up or hosting videos for different multimedia platforms.

CAN YOU HEAR ME?

Can You Hear Me?, created by King Lu, is a Columbia University MFA film about school shootings. The film premiered in New York Shorts International Film Festival and the Golden Door International Film Festival.

MOCK U

Mock U, created by Caroline Kriesen, is a comic mini-series about the liberal arts theater community. “Some standout performances included Kate Kesselman’s ’19 acting as the single-mindedly-devoted actress”- The Justice. Kate not only acted as April in Mock U, but she also helped to write episodes Two and Three.

STALKING

The Bachelor: Brandeis Edition, produced by club BTV, is a multiple episode spoof on ABC's The Bachelor. Kate improvised the lines and developed her character, contestant Amethyst.

THE COST

Directed by Rachel Goldstein, The Cost reveals the measures one student has to go to obtain the money she needs for school tuition.

Stalking, written and directed by Kate Kesselman, is a comedy music video telling the story of a young, love struck woman.

THE BACHELOR: BRANDEIS EDITION

Woke Carolers is a short comedy showing holiday carolers singing hilarious carol parodies. The film was nominated for Best Comedy and won Best Ensemble at the Oregon Film Festival.

Kate was privileged to perform Stand-Up at the Comedy Cellar, in addition to playing Thyona in the Brandeis Department of Theater Arts show,  Big Love, as well as Charles in the devised Senior Thesis Luna.
